52 Alphabet Letter Mats | Pattern Block Build and Trace Activity for Morning Work

$1.90

My students will not sit still for a worksheet about the letter B. But hand them a handful of
pattern blocks and a mat? They will build that thing four times and ask for more. That is the
whole idea behind this pack.

You get 52 letter mats, one for every uppercase and lowercase letter, drawn big enough that a
kid can cover them with pattern blocks and actually see the shape they made. Under each mat is a
short tracing row, so the hands stay busy and the pencil still gets some work. Nothing fancy, no
prep beyond pressing print.

**What is inside**
– 26 uppercase letter mats (A–Z), full page, color
– 26 lowercase letter mats (a–z), full page, color
– A cover page you can use if you bind them into a little book
– A contents page with every letter and its page number, so a student can find their own letter
– 54 pages total, US Letter 8.5 x 11 in, print-ready PDF

**How teachers actually use it**
– Morning work, straight into a basket on the table
– Fine motor or writing center during small group time
– The binder-ring book version for kids who finish early
– Laminated with dry erase markers, then the tracing row gets reused all year
– Homeschool letter of the week, no lesson planning required

**Printing tips**
Print on card stock and they survive a whole year of backpack duty. If you want to save ink,
print the mats on colored paper. To make a book, print double sided and bind the short edge, or
just punch two holes and use rings. Smaller copies make decent task cards for a table.

Why I like these for the little ones: laying blocks into a letter takes two hands, a bit of
rotation, and some patience. That is hand strength, and hand strength is what writing depends on.
The letters get practiced because nobody wants to stop before the letter looks right.

Digital download. Nothing ships. Please keep it for your own classroom or home, and don’t
resell or upload the files anywhere.

ABC Stew! Letter, Sound, Name & Sight Word Cooking Games | Alphabet Recognition Activities for PreK, Kindergarten & 1st Grade

$1.90

Let’s cook up some letters! 🍲

ABC Stew! is a hands-on letter and word game that my kinders ask for over and over (and over) again. The magic is that every version plays the same way — pick a card, say it, find it on the tray, stir it into the pot. So once you teach the routine, you’re done. Just swap out the cards and the SAME game carries you through letters, sounds, names and sight words all year long.

No fancy prepping, no complicated rules, nothing to explain 47 times. 😅 Print it, laminate it, stick each set in a labeled bag, and it literally runs itself during centers.

**What’s inside (42 print-ready pages, 8.5 x 11 in):**
– Teacher tips, organization ideas + bag labels (because we all need the storage thing sorted)
– Differentiation ideas — uppercase only, lowercase only, or mix it up
– Alphabet & sound chart
– Uppercase and lowercase letter trays
– 2 song cards for circle time
– Letter stew cards (uppercase AND lowercase)
– Sound stew cards — 2 picture sets: real foods AND easy-to-identify picture clues with a little star on the corner so the sets never get mixed up
– Recipe cards + sorting stews (uppercase/lowercase, vowels/consonants)
– Name stew — blank name cards + “my initials” cards
– 5 sight word sets: Fry Lists 1, 2, 3, Pre-Primer and Primer + blank word cards for your own list
– 7 no-prep practice pages

**Perfect for:** PreK, Kinder and 1st grade — small groups, literacy centers, morning tubs, RTI, intervention, or that tricky transition time before lunch. 😉

The best part? Watching a kid finally nail a letter sound because they “cooked” it twenty times this week. That’s the good stuff. 🎉

Happy cooking!

Fine Motor Skills Journal for PreK, Kindergarten & Grade 1 | 42-Page Printable Pre-Writing Practice: Line Tracing, Shapes, Alphabet A-Z

$1.90

If your kid is at the “scribbles way more than words” stage, this is exactly what you’re looking for.

I built this journal for preschool through first grade (ages 3–7), and honestly it’s become my go-to for pre-writing practice. Everything in it points to one goal: getting little hands strong and steady before the real writing starts.

What’s inside (42 pages, 8.5 x 11 in, instant PDF download):
– Line tracing x 6 pages (straight, slanted, curved, zigzag, dotted & dashed)
– Shape tracing: circles, squares, triangles, ovals, stars, hearts & more
– The full alphabet — uppercase A-Z and lowercase a-z tracing pages
– Numbers 1-20 tracing + a matching number chart
– “My Name” tracing and writing pages (kids always ask for these first)
– Hands-on pages: stamping, scissor practice, cut-out shapes, tear & paste, sticker practice, and a coloring page
– Fine motor developmental continuum + skills & goals sheet (handy for progress notes or IEPs)
– Parent and teacher guide pages

Who it’s for:
Preschoolers, PreK, kindergarteners, and first graders. Works great as morning work, a small-group table activity, or a little homework packet.

A few honest notes:
– It’s a digital download — you print it yourself. Practice pages are mostly black & white with colorful accents, so it’s easy on your ink.
– For the activity pages, just have safety scissors, stickers, and some playdough on hand and you’re set.

If you’ve got a wiggly one who needs more pencil time but keeps asking “when do we play?” — this is a decent middle ground. They think it’s games. Their hands are getting strong. Win-win.

Letter Recognition Dot Worksheets A-Z | Preschool, Pre-K & Kindergarten Printable

$1.90

kay, so this is the set I kept re-printing all year, which is honestly the best review I can give it.

It’s 26 letter pages, one for each letter, A all the way to Z. Each page has the big uppercase and lowercase letter at the top with a little picture (alligator, bear, car, you get the idea), then a whole grid of circles full of that letter — mixed upper and lower. Kids hunt for the letter and dab it. That’s it. No directions to read out loud three times, no cutting, no prep.

What the kids actually use on them is up to you (or them): dot markers, bingo daubers, crayons, regular markers, pom poms, mini erasers, colored counters, unifix cubes, play dough balls. Mine fight over the dot markers, so I keep a couple pages laminated for the ones who lose.

**Three ways I use it:**

– **Plain worksheet** — print and hand it out. Morning work, fast finishers, tables in the morning, take-home practice.
– **Dry erase mat** — laminate it or drop it in a dry erase pocket. They dab with a whiteboard marker, wipe it, next kid uses it. One print lasts the whole year.
– **Alphabet binder** — slide each page in a sheet protector, put them all on rings or in a binder. Instant reusable letter book for your literacy center.

It’s sneaky-good practice too. They’re doing letter recognition and upper/lower matching without realizing it, plus the dabbing is real fine motor work for those little hands. Say the letter sound out loud while they dab and you’ve got phonemic awareness in there for free.

**What you get:**
– 26 printable letter pages (Aa–Zz)
– Cover + table of contents
– Page numbers on every page
– US Letter 8.5 x 11, black & white so it’s cheap to print
– One PDF, instant download

Print as many copies as you need for your own classroom or your own kids. Just please don’t resell or share the file.

Works great for: morning work, literacy centers, small group, fine motor bins, sub plans, homeschool, early finishers, optional homework, summer review.

Light Table Activities Guide | 100+ Play-Based Literacy, Math, Science & STEM Ideas for Preschool, Pre-K

$1.90

Hey teacher friend — if your light table is currently just holding a pile of random translucent goodies and you’re staring at it wondering *what on earth do I actually do with this thing today?*, this guide was made for you.

I pulled together everything I wish someone had handed me when I first set up my light table: real, doable activities (over 100 of them, all with photos so you can see exactly how they look), beginner tips for getting started, where to grab cheap supplies, plus a whole bunch of DIY manipulatives you can whip up from tissue paper, cardboard, and things you probably already own.

Here’s the best part — the play does the teaching. While kids are digging their hands into chips, pom-poms, and loose parts, they’re quietly building fine motor strength and hand-eye coordination, practicing sharing and turn-taking, growing their vocabulary, and nailing tons of literacy and math skills. It honestly feels a little like magic.

**What’s inside (30 pages, instant PDF download):**
– Getting-started teacher pages: choosing a light table vs. light panels, storage hacks, and a full supply list of manipulatives
– Step-by-step directions for making your own light table mats and learning mats
– 100+ photo activity ideas, including:
– Scissor skills and fine motor fun (tweezers, droppers, beads, tongs)
– Pre-writing lines, building letters, letter ID, letter sounds, and names
– Sight words and vocabulary cards
– Counting & one-to-one correspondence, number identification, and ten frames
– 2D shapes, patterns, non-standard measurement, adding, graphing, and sorting
– STEM challenges plus science themes: the human body & bones, color/light/shadows, and nature/weather/seasons
– Easy DIY manipulatives (tissue trees, holiday lights, number plates, gingerbread sets, and more)
– A ready-to-print light box card gallery: pre-writing lines, letters, numbers, 2D shapes, roads, sorting boards, and ten frames
– Teacher tips to keep the center fresh all year

**How it works:** buy, download, and print — that’s it. Print the cards on transparency film or vellum, or just slide a regular paper printout into a sheet protector and lay it on your light panel. Kids build on top with loose parts or trace with a dry-erase marker, then wipe it clean for the next group.

This resource was designed for **Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K), Transitional Kindergarten (TK), Kindergarten, and First Grade classrooms**, and it works beautifully in homeschools, daycares, and special education settings too.

Set it out once and watch how naturally the children talk, share, problem-solve, and stay focused. Your light table is about to become the most popular spot in the room. ✨

> **Format:** 30-page PDF, 8.5 x 11 in, full color, English. Digital download — no physical product will ship.
